Nuclear Fuel Cycle Series Lecture 1: Basics

WIN IAEA is offering a series of talks describing the basic Nuclear Fuel Cycle and its elements. The first lecture is on June 19 with others to follow.

Topics for Lecture 1: 
1. The nuclear fuel cycle consists of a series of industrial (and commercial) processes for the generation of electricity in nuclear reactors and the subsequent management of the spent fuel.  
2. It consists of obtaining, processing, utilizing and disposing of the fuel – the vital steps in generating electricity.
