Introduction to the Free Girls Movement -  The mission, vision, activities and projects

- Initiative for disadvantaged refugee girls in Austria -

Free Girls Movement is an organization founded by a group of young women in order to help immigrant girls and asylum seekers to get new career perspectives in Austria. The focus of its work lies in the education and the personal development of young girls that may not dare or be able to pursue a career due to traditional mind-settings or gender roles. The goal is to show the Austrian society and these girls different ways and possibilities in which they can get involved in their new homeland and encourage them to take active part on the society by reaching their full potential. The basis of the initiative's work is the mentoring and personal coaching for the girls.
